The release of our past conditioning is a powerful and yet scary process. As it requires us to let go of our co-dependence on the most treasured part of ourselves, our childhood beliefs. It takes tremendous courage to face and process the feelings involved with the changes that enter our lives as we do this work. As we begin to discover it is ourselves that have to change in order for our environment to change, we often retreat from the feelings that are involved, effectively shutting down the process and returning to dysfunction and co-dependence.
In order to truly change and grow we have to trust "OUR PATH" and embrace it. (Of course we also have to find it, a challenge in itself as it often has been pounded out of us) Once we do find it, we have to accept and embrace it. The work is in trusting that the path is ours, (the heart knows the path) and allowing it to expand and flow, using discernment and wisdom. For many (including myself) accepting our own path has been challenging as our conditioning tells us that we don’t deserve to have our own path. Deciding to find and follow my own path was and is a large part of my own journey.
The following are excerpts from Robert Burney's website, he has done a lot of work on co-dependency and the wounded soul/child. His work has helped me tremendously.

"There is an old joke about the difference between a neurotic and a psychotic. The psychotic truly believes that 2 + 2 = 5. The neurotic knows that it is 4 but can't stand it. That was the way I lived most of my life - I could see how life was but I couldn't stand it. I was always feeling like a victim because people and life were not acting in the way I believed they "should" act.
Excerpt from Joy to You & Me Newsletter II 8-98
Learning how to let go of my "shoulds," surrender my picture/idea/plan of how my life is supposed to work or other people are supposed to act, and be willing to accept reality as it is, are the Principles of the Twelve Step Program at work. They are ancient Principles that are an invaluable part of both empowerment and finding some peace within.
If we are in a power struggle that we are losing (with trying to control someone, or with how our life is unfolding - trying to force things, or with the God/Goddess Force - something I tend to want to do a lot) then the best strategy is to surrender that fight and find a way that is going to work for us to meet our needs. I spent most of my life with my insides churning, feeling frustrated and angry, because life wasn't what I wanted it to be. (I can remember the first time in recovery that I was aware of feeling serenity - it was like, ick, what is this? I feel empty inside - because there was no turmoil or conflict going on.)
It is so much easier to accept life as it is and make the best of it - there is a catch however. When we accept reality, and let go of trying to force our will on life and other people, there are feelings to deal with. One of the reasons we keep trying to control someone else (to get an alcoholic to stop drinking for instance) is because with all that frustration and anger, mental obsession and rumination, we don't have time to stop and feel how much is hurts, or how scared we are, or feel the grief of letting that other person go. The reason we try to control other people is to protect ourselves from our feelings - and it is important to admit that. Of course we want what is "right" for them, what is good for them - but we don't know what their "right" path is. Some people are supposed to die of Alcoholism - that is their path.
"This dance of Codependence is a dance of dysfunctional relationships - of relationships that do not work to meet our needs. That does not mean just romantic relationships, or family relationships, or even human relationships in general.
The fact that dysfunction exists in our romantic, family, and human relationships is a symptom of the dysfunction that exists in our relationship with life, with being human. It is a symptom of the dysfunction which exists in our relationships with ourselves as human beings."

Free Radicals
Often we find ourselves in states of health either physcially, mentally or spiritually that are not ideal. In most cases (speaking from my own experience) our conditioning leads us to act out and repeat unhealthy thoughts and behaviors. the end result is chaos and destruction. We then look at what is happening as if someone else is responsible for our pain or something is being done to us that is out of our control. The article below is from Michael Levy. A link to the whole article is at the end. I pulled this excert as it speaks to the principle of understanding why we create what seems like destruction.
Human Beings in the Mirror of the Universe
We humans follow the natural flow of nature. When we lock our minds in egotistical thinking we will just alter our course of actions. When we ignore intelligent energy and just use our intellect and ego, we act as random energy. This is unbalanced and will perform acts of destruction. It really is quite simple. Because we put a value on life, we see things that destroy as a disaster and yet this is the way our universe functions.
If we eat the wrong foods and stress our bodies with the wrong thoughts, our bodies will adapt to a free radical approach; the free radicals destroy our bodies. When our minds focus on a free radical approach to life, many conflicts and wars pursue. If we use intelligence and wisdom in our daily lives, along with Intellect and Ego, we find a blissful contentment. We are guided to eat the correct foods, exercise and think happy thoughts; we unify with the Universe and live in peace and harmony.
We can enhance Earth and progress to make the whole of the Universe a place where physical life can exist in a joy filled state of well being. We all have our part to play, for we are all part of the Big Picture. Take a look in the mirror and Smile. We are a reflection of the Universe. Spirit gave us the Joy of life, Let's not waste it. A Smile travels an Infinite distance, to be greeted by Love and beauty.

Right use of Will
This is one of my favorite subjects. As I was born and raised in a very strict and narrow minded religion, I learned how to follow the greater will. What I have learned since is a culmination of studying other peoples work, and delving deep into my own souls work. In searching for my purpose and the way out of my own darkness, I was given the following principle.
God gave us free will so that we could use it ourselves, not give it to someone else. We have all come from the same source, and all are one. A part of the source has to have the same qualities as the source. If you take a cup of water from the ocean, it remains the same no matter how far away from the source you take it. You cannot turn it into something else. You may alter its appearance or add other elements to it, but structurally and energetically it remains part of the Ocean. We are the same, part of our source, unchangeable in our essence.
As a child and throughout my life, I have been taught as many of you have been, to surrender to “GODS” will, as if using my own will was too dangerous, or harmful. To think that you or I could use our minds to create was ludicrous. I was taught that if I used my will I would only use it to “SIN”. The potential for harm was enormous, so I learned to keep my will in check and just give it to GOD. I tried that for years, without much success. No matter how much I prayed “Thy Will” be done, the bills were not being paid, I could not find a job, my family suffered, my relationships failed, and my heart was hurting. Nothing worked very well for very long.
Finally I prayed for wisdom and understanding, the best thing I have ever done in my Spiritual life. From that prayer came this…
God gave us free will to use, he created us to experience life, and he made us each unique so that we could create from that place of Joy and happiness within our own souls. He could have just as easily created us like all the other animals, but he gave us free will.
This is the principle – we use our free will to hold our desires and thoughts on the things we wish to have and create in our lives. We combine them with our emotions, using our imagination, the vessel in now complete, the seed has been formed. Now if that was where it ended nothing in this world could be changed or created, as we have very limited powers of creation. Yes we can paint a picture, or build a house, but we can’t create a flower, or find the right people to assist us on our journey in a timely fashion.
The next step is where the Magic happens…we give all of our desire, we offer the vessel we have created, to the One (God, the Universe or whatever your comfortable with) who has all of the power, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient. Now here is where you surrender! The surrender is still there it simply is in a different place in the equation. As you surrender your desire to this greater power, who is one and all there is, who created the universes, and has the ability to bring anything you desire to you, that power and force begins to fill your vessel. Part of the surrender means that we have to let go of how and when it happens. This is where we often fail; I know I have many times.
To accept and use this new power, you have to understand several things.
Your job is to have the desire and emotional energy connected to what you want.
You have to commit 100% to having what you want and you cannot let anyone or anything prevent you from having it. (Remembering to harm no one).
Your desire has to be in alignment with Divine principle, (trying to create a harmful situation for someone else will have disastrous results, mostly for you), so using the process correctly means that you have to be in harmony with Source, your desire has a positive outcome. .
As I mentioned before God is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient. This means he is everywhere, and all powerful. He is the space and silence between all things. The creative force that is all around you waiting for you to send your desires to him. If you watched the “Secret” movie, this is what they were talking about.
You have to surrender your desire to that Power, and let it be. This is where the Sages of time, have all been in agreement, “DO NOTHING”. It’s not that we don’t have desires or thoughts, its what we do with the thoughts after we have them.
Since we don’t have the resources or the power to affect the entire universe on our own, as we tap into the Universal power by surrendering our desire to God’s will, he then can use his superior knowledge, power and connections to give you want you are asking for -hence, BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.
It is from that place of power that intuition, inspiration and creative ideas are born. As you connect and allow the energy to begin filling your vessel of desire and you follow what you are guided to do, the magnificence of your power becomes real and apparent. Miracles begin to happen.
I see it like this, a flower simply holds its divine desire to be that flower, it in and of itself, it has no power, only desire. The Universal energy (GOD) pours the spirit into the flower and before long we see the beautiful flower appear. This is why it states in the Scripture – consider the Lily of the field, they neither spin nor toil, yet Solomon in all of his glory was not arrayed as one of these.
When we become like children (with our desires), and allow the Greatest force that ever was, (which has promised all things are possible to him who believes) to bring it into manifestation, we no longer have to Fear anything. This is place where Christ spoke from when he said “My father and I are one.” And “it is not I that doeth the work but my Father”. We have the same opportunity to utilize the same energy and power. It is up to you to access it.

Becoming the Bridge
The one who is willing to take a risk and try the unknown, becomes a living bridge for others who may be looking for a way to grow.
As in much of my work I bring in sources that validate and verify the truth, sometimes simply because it is already written in a way that I cannot improve upon, sometimes because the spirit and energy of the author’s words are too perfect to change.
I tend to use a lot of Dancing analogies, mainly because I love ballroom dancing, and recently in working with a client, I was sharing with her that learning how to grow spiritually, is much like learning or teaching ballroom dancing. We can "TRY" to teach ourselves, which takes a long time, or we can take lessons from someone who has had the training and allow them to teach us. With a teacher your growth and dancing abilities are accelerated and the process takes much less time and effort, (and in most cases you are a better dancer).
As no one person perfected ballroom dancing, it is the result of many ideas, processes and the culmination of a number of dancers each contributing his or her part to the overall program. As each new move or dance evolves, the teachers that are up on current dancing, learn and integrate those elements, and in turn teach their students.
I have applied this process to spiritual development, no one person has all the answers or all of the truth, as we work together, the WHOLE Truth evolves. As we integrate the ideas, elements and processes from a variety of teachers the whole of humanity benefits. This also prevents cases like the Mormons in Texas where they have been conditioned and brain washed in to believing that one mans Truth is the only Truth.
With that said here is today’s lesson -
Codependence: The Dance of Wounded Souls by Robert Burney
I spent most of my life doing the Serenity prayer backwards, that is, trying to change the external things over which I had no control - other people and life events mostly - and taking no responsibility (except shaming and blaming myself) for my own internal process - over which I can have some degree of control. Having some control is not a bad thing; trying to control something or somebody over which I have no control is what is dysfunctional.
What is so valuable, what I believe is unique, about the approach to inner child healing that I have been guided to develop and refine, is that it provides a formula for integrating Spiritual Truth and intellectual knowledge of healthy behavior into one's emotional relationship with life.
It does not matter how much Spiritual Truth, how many mystical experiences of oneness, how in tune with Love, you can feel in certain moments - if you cannot integrate it into your life in a way which changes your emotional experience of life on a moment to moment, day to day basis. You can go to therapy for many years, read all the Spiritual and self help books, go to workshops and seminars and lectures - compile encyclopedic intellectual knowledge of what healthy behavior is - and still be reacting to old wounds in the relationships that mean the most to you.
The missing ingredient for so many people who have been seeking for many years, is how to integrate what you know into how you feel about your experience life. That is what I teach people - because it is what I have spent many years learning. It is what I am still learning.
We need to start observing ourselves and stop judging ourselves. Any time we judge and shame ourselves, we are feeding back into the disease, we are jumping back into the squirrel cage.
What I see clearly now, is that detachment was the first step in my recovery - and is the key to consciousness raising. As long as we are reacting out of a polarized belief system to the feeling of toxic shame in our core relationship with ourselves, we are powerless to be co-creators of our lives in anything but a negative way. It is only by detaching from our inner process enough to start seeing reality from a new healthier perspective, that we can start to gain some freedom from our old wounds and old tapes.
Observing ourselves without shame and judgment allows us to see reality with more clarity. It creates the space that allows us to own our power to make choices. It creates the space for us to start to understand our own internal conflict so that we can choose to start paying attention to the "small quiet voice" of our Spirit, of our intuition, instead of giving power to the loud abusive messages coming from our wounded ego programming. It is the key to starting to stop the war within and create some inner peace.

Developing a level of consciousness in which we are self aware, and turning that space into a proactive force in changing our relationship with self and life, is the key to learning to relax and enJoy life in the moment some of the time. The percentage of the time we are be-ing and enjoying life will increase gradually as we transform our relationship with self and life.
Probably even more important than the ability to relax and enjoy life, is developing the observer consciousness that helps us to start developing some compassion for ourselves when we are not enjoying life. It helps us to allow - and align with - the emotional healing so that we can release the repressed grief energy we are carrying. It helps us to stop judging and shaming ourselves when we feel "bad." That in turn means we spend less time in negative feeling emotional spaces - and move back into positive feeling emotional spaces sooner. It allows us to open up to receive so that we don't sabotage feeling good.
Detachment allows us to start taking some Loving control of our own internal process. It allows us to start taking control over, and responsibility for, our thoughts and our feelings to the extent that is possible. It allows us to create a space in our lives to start learning how to be Loving to ourselves instead of feeling like a victim of self and life.
Detachment - learning to observe our selves so that we can become more conscious - is an act of Love.
additional level of consciousness
I realized after posting this page that I wasn't sure if I had been clear that I was not talking about detachment as a way to avoid feeling the feelings. I am referring to developing an additional level of consciousness where we can be watching ourselves at the same time we are feeling the feelings. A level of consciousness from the adult on a Spiritual path, the recovery control center, that can help us align with the grieving process and release the emotional energy. We can be the recovering adult who is observing from a nurturing and Loving place at the same time we are experiencing the feelings of the 5 year old, or 9 year old, or 23 year old, or whatever. We can be in the feelings and observing ourselves grieving at the same time.
This level of consciousness is from a higher perspective. It is an additional level of consciousness that we cultivate and develop by more clearly tuning in to, concentrating our attention on, our intuition - the "small quiet voice" - and consciously choosing to give power to the Spiritual Truth we resonate with instead of our emotional truth and mental programming from childhood. By cultivating this detached perspective - detached from our ego experience of being human - we can observe both the mental and emotional levels of our being from a more discerning perspective. It facilitates changing the intellectual programming and taking some of the terror out of healing the emotional wounds. It allows us to set internal boundaries within, and between, the mental and emotional levels of our being.
When I speak of a detached observer perspective, I am not talking about the kind of observation that is taught in some spiritual meditation practices. Many people use that type of observation as a way to avoid feeling the feelings. That type of detachment from emotions is what some people experience on anti-depressants. Some people use chanting and meditation as anti-depressants. Chanting and meditation can be invaluable tools but applied in an imbalanced manner can, like positive affirmations, be used as tools to deny feelings.
Just observing the feelings does not heal them; does not fundamentally change our relationship patterns; does not make our fear of intimacy go away. We need to feel, experience, and release the emotional energy in order to heal the wounds and take power away from them.
We need to feel the feelings but learn how not to be the victim of them / of our reactions. I am talking about a detached observer consciousness that gives us the power to choose how to respond when one of our grief / rage buttons has been pushed. An emotional wound can be triggered and we can make a conscious choice that it is not safe to feel and release those feelings in that moment. Then, we have a choice about how we are going to respond in the now, and later we can do the grief work when it is safe and appropriate to do it.
We do not avoid feeling the feelings. We gain some power over when and where we feel the feelings. Detachment, as it applies to the inner child healing process in my approach, is a technique that fosters empowerment and response-ability, not emotional denial. Detachment is a dynamic technique, a method of consciously relating to our internal process, that is an integral and invaluable step in consciousness raising / enlightenment / awakening / recovery / healing / empowerment. - RB

- RB

Taking up your Cross
In my research and study I have uncovered and discovered some amazing things and paradigm shifts that are beyond the scope of the published information available.
One such belief is the scripture where Jesus says “take up thy cross and follow me”
What I was given about this scripture is this -
Jesus had a mission which he embraced and did it to the fullest extent of his abilities, and he never wavered or faltered from that mission. Within his mission he literally had to carry his own cross. I believe that his instruction was this – Find your own mission that you came here to do, and take up that and follow what Jesus did, do it to the fullest extent of your abilities and never waver or falter from that mission. So your “Cross” is not your pain and suffering, it is what God sent you here to do for the world, suffering is what we experience when we don’t pick up our cross and follow the path. If you look at those who have had extraordinary lives like Mother Teresa, she simply took up her cross and followed the path, never wavered or faltered, and she changed the lives of countless people.
Many who read this will scoff or even judge what is said here, for you I give you the words of the great prophets.
"Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.
Matthew 13:10-17.
10 The disciples came to him and asked, "Why do you speak to the people in parables?"
11 He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.
12 Whoever has, will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
13 This is why I speak to them in parables: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.
Buddha did a similar thing. Rather than spout philosophy he lived it. This is a quality of a prophet, they walk the talk. The sayings of Buddha are very much like the parables of Jesus. Not always to be taken literally.
It is your choice what you do with your life, you were given free will to choose everyday what you will be and do. The question is what are you doing with your will? Following your own truth or that which some religion or society has given you? Are you exercising free will or are you simply a clone of what others have indoctrinated you with.

Your Wlll and the Truth
Will, is the force that drives our choices, affects our reality, and controls our perceptions. As a child there is no delineation of will. From the moment we are born others begin to instruct and teach us, that the will of those in power is the dominant force. At birth we cry for food, or to have some other need met. Depending on their state of mind and their current emotional state our caretakers may respond with Love or with Anger. They may meet our needs, or they may punish us for simply being there. They may even punish us for having needs, as in the child that is beaten for crying out in pain. They have complete dominion and power over us. As we begin to grow, we try to find other means of getting our needs met, we become aware of which behaviors induce sympathy or anger from our caregivers. We learn that our requests are denied or diminished if our caregivers are unable or unwilling to meet them appropriately.
Experience quickly teaches us that the will of those in power over us, takes precedence over our will. We learn to submit our will to the higher power, in order to survive and to prevent our caretakers from hurting us. This process is repeated over and over in our daily lives as a young child, sometimes with brutal force, sometimes with subtle manipulation. Eventually we completely sacrifice our will, and learn the behaviors that will give us the most benefit, with the least resistance, until our beliefs are firmly ingrained with the experience of giving up our own will to protect ourselves from pain. We become conditioned and domesticated. We no longer feel our own heart, or our connection to ourselves.
The result of this atrocity leaves our spirit broken and confused. We try to hang on to that little bit of ourselves that we know is our true selves. If that small piece of ourselves is not allowed to grow, eventually our souls feel “lost”. We get trapped in the maze of trying to understand where our power is, where our heart is and who we are. As a child that is a enormous undertaking, that we unable to navigate.
This abuse is continued and driven deeper into our physce when we are introduced to “Religion”. The Church in its efforts to save the souls of the earth, has established itself as the supreme authority on human behavior. Drawing on the teachings of Masters and teachers such as Christ, Mohammed, or Buddha, the leaders of the “church” have written books that are supposedly based on the teachings of these prophets. Other men have proclaimed their personal visions as words from God.
One can see in the variety and diversity of the worlds religions that something is out of balance. It took me many years of study and meditation to understand this process. What I discovered is amazing. When one discovers his “TRUTH” he feel alive and connected. This individual then tries to share that with others or writes a book, and begins to teach his “TRUTH” to others. Since most people have been conditioned to give their will to a higher power and this individual seems to have a connection to “GOD” they listen, and soon they are conditioned to that “TRUTH”, eventually an entire religion grows out of that. Now we have many Truths, from many groups, and all believe that their truth is the one and only truth. The real TRUTH is none of them are true for everybody. Each of us has his or her own Truth. Yes we can agree or certain principles or tenants, and in the big picture if we follow our own Truth we are actually all in agreement at the core of our being, as we have all come from the same place. As we live our Truth, all others are free to live thiers, and the Truth shall set you free! So find YOUR Truth and live it, in that you can be Your magnificent self.

Miracles and our choices
From Alan Cohen -
Miracles do not deny universal law. They fulfill it.
End quote
I find that we have to just continue loving, we have to do and be what God is asking, not only when we are in a relationship, but always. This is what we are called to do. Without requiring anything back, without expectations, to be able to be in the Christ spirit under adverse circumstances. When we reach that state, and maintain it without pushing our agendas our trying to require God to do it our way, miracles happen. As co-creators with God we have to understand the process of creating. Just as we plant a seed, we don’t try to make it grow a certain way or faster or slower, we can only nurture it. God provides the way, the color, the magnificence and the shape of it. So it is with our life and what we create, our job is to hold the desire and the dream, how it grows , the shape of it and the way it is created is Gods work. He only is asking us to do our part and allow him to do his part. No questions. Trust the proccess. Know that what you ask is coming to you.
So it appears that our work is to hold this light regardless of what our eyes are seeing, and what we are experiencing. We have to trust, we have to believe and we have to be strong. And we have to expect our best will be brought to us. We have to lay down the Ego that says this is no fair or right, that we are being punished. We are birthing a new divine concept, and it requires dedication and tenacity.
From Anatomy of The Spirit by Caroline Myss –
The energy of the second chakra helps us evolve beyond the collective energy of the tribe. Choice is born out of opposites, and the duality of the second chakra is forever challenging us to make choices in a world of opposing sides, of positive and negative energy patterns. Every choice we make contributes a subtle curent of our energy to the universe, which is responsive to the influence of human consciousness.
Choice is the process of creation itself.
Choice has a mysteriuos aspect, however, for we will never completely know the full outcome of any choice w e make. A primal lesson of the second chakra is the parsadoxial nature of choice: what seems right can turn out wrong, what appears good can end up bad. Just when everyhting is going smoothly, chaos breaks things up.
Paradoxically while the energy if the second chakra inclines us to control our lives, the lesson of the second chakra is that we cannot be in control, We are physical beings and energy beings, but since the physical world cannot be controlled, the task before us is to master our inner responses to our external world, our thoughts and emotions.
The truth contained within the paradoxiacal nature of dualism is this: it is not “what” we choose that matters, our power to influence an outcome lies in our reasons for making a certain choice.
The challenge of the second chakra is to learn what motivates us to make the choices we do.

Your thoughts
From Walking Between the Worlds – by Gregg Braden
As you journey through the waking dream of life, pieces of your life may be lost, innocently given away or taken away by those who have power over you. These portions of you are your compromises, exchanged for surviving your experience of life. When you reach a time in your life where you truly choose to love, share and give of yourself, you may find there is nothing left. You discover that you have lost yourself little by little to the very experience that invites you to share. Recognizing the patterns and masks of survival as they play out through you relationships is an accelerated path of choice. Calling back those pieces of you that you hold dear may be your highest expression of Mastery.
End quote
The day is dawning into the beauty of connected hearts
Love deeper than any ocean
Commitment, trust, and conscious Love
Empower us to be what we all desire to have.
How’s the weather?
Yes there are days when the clouds continue to scroll across the sky occasionally. There may even be days when there are only clouds. But they come and go. Different shapes sizes, colors. And textures. None quite capable of blocking out the light completely. For I know that the Sun (Source) is still shining brightly, giving endlessly, and to all regardless of your state of mind. The clouds are thoughts which float across the mind, that can seem like impenetrable objects. But clouds are water (emotions) including the Big storm clouds, which are simply a very charged and energized group of thoughts. Anger, Fear, Depression, and Resentment generate tremendous energy and can bring devastating storms into our lives. Raining and blowing like crazy they can damage or destroy our Peace.
Sometimes a rainy afternoon is the perfect time to relax and enjoy ourselves, to spend time “inside”. Rather than complaining about our circumstances, we can find respite in letting go of looking outside ourselves for fulfillment.
Today be aware of what storms you are creating or allowing and know that you can simply own your own thoughts and how they are affecting you and everyone around you.
Even watch other people and see how their personal storms are so powerful they try to rain on your parade.
They say we have 60,000 thoughts a day. How many of yours support your Heart, generate Love and contribute to a Peaceful and Joyful day?
Take charge of the clouds. “Become the Wizard”. “Be the Force” the day is full of promise and sunshine. Get your beach chair, and enjoy it! Focus on the sunshine and how wonderful your life is, even if you can only find a tiny moment in the day when the sun is shining. Appreciate that with all of you heart and I promise that tomorrow and the next day will begin to bring more and more sunshine.
Often we find our hearts touched by Love. But us it Love? Really? The physical heart knows love, and all of the warm and fuzzy feelings of romance and kisses, of sweet words and that special person. Until it perceives that it is being hurt or it doesn’t feel that it is being cared for properly. Suddenly the love turns to anger, or hatred. It shuts down and attempts to eliminate the source of its pain. Is this really Love? GOD loves us no matter what we do or say with Divine Love. There is no judgement or retaliation, no attack or cutoff. Just more Love. If we can adopt the power and energy of this Love and share it with those we care about how different our relationships will be. The divine heart nestled inside our physical heart must open to embrace our own hearts, then we can know and feel the Love that God holds for us and we can embrace and share that same Love.
The following is from the book “The Power of Now” by Eckhardt Tolle
If in your love relationship you experience both “love” and the opposite of love – attack, emotional violence, and so on –then it is likely that you are confusing ego attachment and addictive clinging with love. You cannot love your partner one moment and attack him or her the next. True love has no opposite. If your “love” has an opposite, then it is not love but a strong ego-need for a more complete and deeper sense of self, a need that the other person temporarily meets. It is the ego’s substitute for salvation, and for a short time it almost feels like salvation.

The Keys to the Kingdom
The Keys to the Kingdom –Craig Tees
Often we find ourselves questioning what is going on in our lives. We find ourselves trapped in negative thoughts or feelings or both, that don’t feel good. We begin to question God and why we are struggling. We question our faith and our beliefs, and yet cant figure out how to change them or understand why. The solution? –
Step 1
The power of Now,… ANYTIME you are feeling fear, anger, depression or any negative feeling. It is generated by a thought, usually one about the past. As soon as you realize that you are feeling bad you have to immediately command you self and your mind to come into the NOW. It is almost like training a dog, I even had to shout out loud to stop my thought processes., and return to the Now, I did it for 36 hours straight. Finally things began to settle down and peace began to soak in. I still have to be aware and stop any and all thoughts that produce negative emotions, but the moments get farther apart.
Step 2
Gratitude….
If at any given time you are feeling frustrated, in pain, or feel that your suffering is unbearable, know this –
Simply stop do step 1, then acknowledge that you are feeling the way you are and change your thought to gratitude. Thank God for the awareness of what you are feeling, be grateful that you can see and feel the situation. Be grateful that you are where you are, even though there is no way to see the benefits. By switching to being grateful, we change the energy of what you are feeling, It also puts you in contact with God, it connects you to where you are, it moves you out of what is happening to a place where you can find peace. It breaks the pattern, it opens the door for the pain to transform. It takes you within and there is where the Kingdom is.
Every time you are feeling negative emotion, replace it with Gratitude. Be grateful that you are having these emotions, be thankful you are able to be aware of your emotions and any lessons they are bringing,
Be grateful that you are where you are, even if it is not where you want to be right now, the way to get where you want to be is to reduce the energy and time spent in the negative emotions and to shift quickly into being grateful.
The mental attitude of gratitude draws the mind into closer touch with the source from which the blessings come.
Also Faith is born of Gratitude, the grateful mind continually expects good things, and expectation becomes faith.

Releasing toxic memories
Realeasing Toxic memories
We live our lives based on what we believe to be true about our world, ourselves, our capabilities, and our limits. With few exceptions, those beliefs come from what science, history, religion, and other people tell us. What if those beliefs are wrong? What if we are only limited -- until we change the way we see ourselves in the world?
It is written in the Tao Tae Ching: "Under heaven, all can see beauty as beauty, only because there is ugliness. All can know good as good, only because there is evil. Therefore, having and not having a rise together, difficult and easy compliment each other. High and low rest upon each other. Front and back follow one another. Be like the sun, and what is within you will warm the earth."–KF* KCC: What greater power is there, Master?Poe: Those who surrender themselves find inner strength.KCC: Will this protect me more than my arms and legs?Poe: When the heart knows no danger, no danger exists. When the soul becomes the warrior, all fear melts. As the snowflake that falls upon your hand.–KF*
By Ihaleakala Hew Len, Ph.D.
A house divided against itself cannot stand. This is true for nations, communities, organizations and families, as well as for individuals. In the House of Humanity, the individual is the common denominator. When the individual is divided, the house is divided.
In the game of tennis, the scoring system is Love, 15, 30, 40, game. The game begins with Love. In the etymology of the word, Love is no score, no stakes, nothing, to take the individual back to Love to nothing, to wholeness.
The process achieves this by voiding anger, fear, blame, resentment and thinking from poisonous thoughts, toxic energies that divide the mind, the house of the individual, causing it to fall to dis-Harmony and dis-ease.
The purpose of life is to be restored back to Love , moment to moment. To fulfill this purpose, the individual must acknowledge that he is 100% responsible for creating his life the way it is. He must come to see that it is his thoughts of that create his life the way it is moment to moment. The problems are not people, places and situations but rather the thoughts of them. He must come to appreciate that there is no such thing as "out there". People, places and situations exist only as his thoughts of.
A problem is a replayed toxic memory, what Shakespeare writes as a "fore-moaned moan". A replayed toxic memory again divides the mind against its self, against Love. The Updated Hooponopono, a process of repentance, forgiveness and transmutations, is a petition to Love to void and replace toxic energies with its self. Love accomplishes this by flowing through the Mind, beginning with the Spiritual Mind, the Super Conscious. It then continues its flow through the intellectual Mind, the Conscious Mind, freeing it of thinking energies. Finally, it moves into the Emotional Mind, the Subconscious, voiding thoughts of toxic emotions and filling them with its self.
Here is a thought cleansing tool that anyone can apply to void toxic energies from his or her thoughts.
Mentally think: "I turn the Light Switch on my thoughts of me and my family, relatives and ancestors." There is no limit to the number of times that this tool can be used. The tool is a petition to Love to clear toxic thoughts of yourself and of your family, relatives and ancestors that divide your Mind, your house.
The purpose of life does not change with the coming of a new millennium! It will always remain the same: to be restored back to Love moment to moment. The fulfilling of this purpose requires absolute individual responsibility. It requires an appreciation of the real problems that divide the individual first, then everything else second. A house divided against itself cannot stand.

Paradigm Shifts
If you want to change what is "Happening" to you read on.....
Our current reality is based mostly on years of conditioning and listening to what those who had authority over us gave us as the TRUTH", a profound example of this is the situation in Texas with the Mormon group. They believe they are right and want to live their life as they are. No amount of talking to them is going to change that belief. Until they realize and accept that what they have been taught to believe is only one mans interpretation of the truth they cannot and probably will not change their beliefs. We all have similar realities, I was born and raised in a similar religious group and it has taken years of study and self growth to break free of that conditioning. what follows below is the beginning of understanding the power of shifting your paradigm, whatever that is currently.IN speaking to various people recently I have witnessed incredible resistance to letting go of their paradigms. People tend to defend their position at all costs rather than to even consider the possibility of another truth. The information below is not my own, but as in previous posts, I am sharing information that came to me. IN practice "giving" this to you allows me to "Become"what I desire to have. Joy and happiness. And yes its long so get your coffee and read on, otherwise come back to this when you have time to give it your attention, it will be a worthwhile investment. And watch for your own resistance as it jumps up and tries to defend your own paradigms. BE part of the revolution!
Have a Marvelous Day!
In The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, Kuhn wrote, "Successive transition from one
paradigm to another via revolution is the usual developmental pattern of mature science."
(p.12) Kuhn's idea was itself revolutionary in its time, as it caused a major change in the
way that academics talk about science. Thus, it caused or was itself part of a "paradigm
shift" in the history and sociology of science. Similarly, agents of change are driving a new paradigm shift today. The signs are all around us. For example, the introduction of the personal computer and the internet have impacted both personal and business environments, and is a catalyst for a Paradigm Shift. We are shifting from a mechanistic, manufacturing, industrial society to an organic, service based, information centered society, and increases in technology will continue to impact globally. Change is inevitable. It's the only true constant. In conclusion, for millions of years we have been evolving and will continue to do so. change is difficult. Human Beings resist change; however, the process has been set in motion long ago and we will continue to co-create our own experience. Kuhn states that "awareness is prerequisite to all acceptable changes of theory" (p. 67). It all begins in the mind of the person. What we perceive, whether normal or metanormal, conscious or unconscious, are subject to the limitations and distortions produced by our inherited and socially conditional nature. However, we are not restricted by this for we can change. We are moving at an accelerated rate of speed and our state of consciousness is transforming and transcending. Many are awakening as our conscious awareness expands.

THE BE-DO-HAVE PARADIGM
This is a dialogue between the author, Neale Donald Walsch, and "GOD" as he refers to the inspirational flow of information that came through to him. In the book, Conversations With God: an uncommon dialogue, Book 3, Page 14-17, the distinction is made via different indentations in the actual text. So it would be easily read, I inserted God, where "God" speaks, and Neal where the author, Neal Donald Walsch, speaks.
GOD: Most people believe if they "have" a thing (more time, money, love -- whatever), then
hey can finally "do" a thing (write a book, take up a hobby, go on vacation, buy a home, undertake a relationship), which will allow them to "be" a thing (happy, peaceful, content, or in love). In actuality, they are reversing the Be-Do-Have paradigm. In the universe as it really is (as opposed to how you think it is), "havingness" does not produce "beingness," but the other way around.
First you "be" the thing called "happy" (or "knowing," or "wise," or "compassionate," or whatever), then you start "doing" things from this place of beingness -- and soon you discover that what you are doing winds up bringing you the things you've always wanted to "have."
The way to set this creative process (and that's what this is...the process of creation) into motion is to look at what it is you want to "have," ask yourself what you think you would "be" if you "had" that, then go right straight to being. In this way you reverse the way you've been using the Be-Do-Have paradigm -- in actuality, set it right -- and work with, rather than against, the creative power of the universe.
Here is a short way of stating this principle:
In life, you do not have to do anything. It's all a question of what you are being. This is one of the three messages I will touch on again at the end of our dialogue. I will close the book with it.
For now, and to illustrate this, think of a person who just knows that if he could only have
little more time, a little more money, or a little more love, he'd be truly happy.
NEAL: He does not get the connection between his "not being very happy" right now and his
not having the time, money, or love he wants.
GOD: That's right. On the other hand, the person who is "being" happy seems to have time to
do everything that's really important, all the money that's needed, and enough love to last a lifetime.
NEAL: He finds he has everything he needs to "be happy"...by "being happy" to begin with!
GOD: Exactly. Deciding ahead of time what you choose to be produces that in your experience.
NEAL: "To be, or not to be. That is the question."
GOD: Precisely. Happiness is a state of mind. And like all states of mind, it reproduces itself in physical form. There's a statement for a refrigerator magnet:
"All states of mind reproduce themselves."
NEAL: But how can you "be" happy to begin with, or "be" anything you are seeking to be --
more prosperous, for instance, or more loved -- if you are not having what you think you need in order to "be" that?
GOD: Act as if you are, and you will draw it to you. What you act as if you are, you become.
NEAL: In other words, "Fake it until you make it."
GOD: Something like that, yes. Only you can't really be "faking." Your actions have to be sincere." Everything you do, do out of sincerity, or the benefit of the action is lost.
This is not because I won't "reward you." God does not "reward" and "punish," as you know.
But Natural Law requires the body, mind, and spirit to be united in thought, word, and
action for the process of creation to work. You cannot fool your mind. If you are insincere, your mind knows it, and that's that. You've just ended any chance that your mind can help you in the creative process. You can, of course, create without your mind -- it's just a great deal more difficult. You can ask your body to do something your mind doesn't believe, and if your body does it long enough, your mind will begin to let go of its former thought about that, and create a New Thought. Once you have a New Thought about a thing, you're well on your way to creating it as a permanent aspect of your being, rather than something you're just acting out.
This is doing things the hard way, and even in such instances, that action must be sincere. Unlike what you can do with people, you cannot manipulate the universe. So here we have a very delicate balance. The body does something in which the mind does not believe, yet the mind must add the ingredient of sincerity to the body's action for it to work.
NEAL: How can the mind add sincerity when it does not "believe in" what the body is doing?
GOD: By taking out the selfish element of personal gain.
NEAL:How?
GOD: The mind may not be able to sincerely agree that the actions of the body can bring you
that which you choose, but the mind seems very clear that God will bring good things through
you to another. Therefore, whatever you choose for yourself, give to another.
NEAL: Would You say that again, please?
GOD: Of course. Whatever you choose for yourself, give to another. If you choose to be happy, cause another to be happy. If you choose to be prosperous, cause another to prosper.
If you choose more love in your life, cause another to have more love in theirs. Do this sincerely -- not because you seek personal gain, but because you really want the other person to have that -- and all the things you give away will come to you.
NEAL: Why is that so? How does that work?
GOD: The very act of your giving something away causes you to experience that you have it to
give away. Since you cannot give to another something you do not now have, your mind comes
to a new conclusion, a New Thought, about you --namely, that you must have this, or you could not be giving it away.
This New Thought then becomes your experience. You start "being" that. And once you start "being" a thing, you've engaged the gears of the most powerful creation machine in the universe -- your Divine Self. Whatever you are being, you are creating.
The circle is complete, and you will create more and more of that in your life. It will be made manifest in your physical experience. This is the greatest secret of life. It is what Book 1 and Book 2 were written to tell you. It was all there, in far greater detail. This is a heart THE CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK OF CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD This is a heart Visit the Conversations with God - an uncommon dialogue web site and learn more about the Triology, and the man who was called to bring forth this important message, Neale Donald Walsch.
