Getting off the Merry-Go-Round

.

A brand new view of how we are tricked in to believing that we are moving forward when we are actually going in circles.

Much like a merry-go-round many people believe they are actually moving forward, and will even explain how they are going with the flow, and they point out the speed at which they are moving is evidence that they are not standing still.

What they fail to realize is that although they are moving very fast they are simply going in a circle. The fear is if you step off the Merry-go-Round you will be left behind. Others on the Merry-Go-Round will even try to convince you it is true! And yet when you step off you see them going round and round without ever getting anywhere.

So what causes this? and how do we recognize it? and most importantly how do you change it?

It is caused by the conditioning of childhood and our past. We have been give false premises and truths by most of our teachers.

You can recognize it when you keep experiencing the same things in your life, even after changing your job, getting divorced or simply ending a relationship and them finding the next one is the same thing.

The change comes when you decide to change.

It requires unraveling your beliefs, your thoughts and your energy, realigning with what you want, and doing the work to move in that direction with complete and dedicated effort. No one can do it for you, you are the only one who can make it happen.

I share this with many people and will give you one of the secrets of success -

It requires a coach and support team.

OK here is false premise #1 - I can do it myself! (many people have tried this and failed) the reason? let me explain -

Take Golf or Ballroom Dancing for example, you can do either one by yourself. You may even become a good player or dancer. To become great you have to take lessons, hire a coach or instructor and get ongoing advice and support in order to improve beyond the basics.

Otherwise you get trapped on the Merry-go-Round believing that you are really moving, when you are not.
