Transforming the Energy of Pain and Suffering

.

Transforming the Energy of Pain and Suffering

We carry within ourselves the burden of our past and our childhood. A package that was handed to us keep, that is not ours at all. Much like the announcements made at the airport, we should have reminders if any one asks us to carry an emotional package or article for them we need to report it to the emotional baggage police. Are you carrying something, a heavy burden, that someone else gave you or told you to carry, or that you just picked up because you felt obligated?

Take Financial obligations and debt. There is no debt in the Divine mind. God doesn’t see debt. In my journey and effort to unravel what is not working in my life, I have discovered that my debts are my way of carrying around unfilled obligations. Feeling the obligation as a package of feelings and responsibilities that filled that space and place inside of me that somehow thought I had to carry my piece of the family responsibility.

As a child being powerless and unable to "do" anything I always had a sense of not being able to help and not having the resources I needed to change the dynamics of what was happening in the family. I had no way to relate to this or to change it and somewhere in my infant mind found that financial obligation filled that need to carry my part. It is not necessary nor it is it essential to the functioning of the world. In reality it is an illusion of my own making, as the true nature of the universe is abundance. Even though I "know" that in my mind, a energetic part of myself is attached to this feeling of obligation and I haven’t been able to get beyond it, until I realized why I was carrying it.

What is your package attached to? Pain? Fear? Health? Finances?

Are you carrying the payment for your childhood failures, to fulfill your perceived obligation to your parents/family /teachers? things you weren’t even aware of? A combination of all of these things?

To truly heal whatever is out of balance requires changing the energy within your mind and body. First you have to find that place or experience in your childhood where you first felt this energy. Second you have to change your thoughts about all of it, consciously and intentionally. Third you have to begin changing your feelings about it.

Once you can actually "feel" better and can reach that place where you can feel good in every moment, letting go of your "need" to be something or to satisfy some past event or process. As you begin to generate good feelings, and the law of attraction begins to work in a powerful way, bringing you more of the good experiences that you want, thereby generating more good feelings. It does require effort, energy and hard work to change these processes, thoughts and feelings.

Here is something that helped me understand...

From Codependence: The Dance of Wounded Souls by Robert Burney

It does not matter how much Spiritual Truth, how many mystical experiences of oneness, how in tune with Love, you can feel in certain moments - if you cannot integrate it into your life in a way which changes your emotional experience of life on a moment to moment, day to day basis. You can go to therapy for many years, read all the Spiritual and self help books, go to workshops and seminars and lectures - compile encyclopedic intellectual knowledge of what healthy behavior is - and still be reacting to old wounds in the relationships that mean the most to you.

The missing ingredient for so many people who have been seeking for many years, is how to integrate what you know into how you feel about your experience of life.

End quote.

What ever is happening for you, has probably been happening to you since early childhood. The universe (life) brings to you what you are feeling. It is simply an opportunity to see what you are thinking and feeling. There is no value in keeping them or holding on to any part of them you don’t want. When you decide to change your life, you become the catalyst and the force of that change. The circumstances and experiences that follow are totally your responsibility. You are in the School of Transformation.
